Itinerary
Day 1. Bucharest
Output on regular flight to Romania. Arrival at the international airport of Otopeni, meeting with the Guide and transfer to Hotel Doubletree by Hilton 4 * / Bucuresti. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2. Bucharest – Urlateanu Cellar – Dealu Mare Cellar – Basilescu Cellar – Casa Colinelor Cellar
Breakfast. We started with the visit of the tourism objectives of the capital of Romania - Bucharest with: Patriarchal Church, Palace of the Parliament - the second building in the world, after the Pentagon, Constitution Square, University Plaza, Plaza of the Revolution, Victoriei Square, Avenue of the aviators Village Museum. After
these visits, we depart for the region of Prahova, where we will visit with wine tasting in the cellar Urlateanu. We will have lunch at the winery itself. Afterwards, we headed toward Home Colinelor, where we have the accommodation. In the afternoon we visited the Mansion and the Padre Bellu Basilescu Winery. Dinner and accommodation in House Colinelor.
Day 3. Casa Colinelor – Buzau – Panciu – Marasesti – Husi - Iasi
Breakfast. We leave the region of Prahova and we headed toward another region known for its wines -Vrancea. The first stop, Bodegas Panciu, where we have a wine tasting and lunch. Then we headed toward the Marasesti town, where we will visit the mausoleum of Marasesti, dedicated to the Romanian soldiers fallen in the First World War. We continue our journey to the wineries, Hawsi, where we have a wine tasting. In the late afternoon arrival in the city of Iasi, where we will have a panoramic tour of the city, with the Palace of Culture, Church Three Hierarchs, Metropolitan Church of Moldova and Bukovina, as other tourism objectives of the city. Dinner and accommodation at the Ramada Hotel 4 * /Iasi.
Day 4. Iasi – Chisinau – Humor
Breakfast. We left for Republic Moldova, now an independent country that was formerly part of the former Soviet Union. Once you arrive you will visit the famous wine cellars of Cricova and Milestii Mici, Purcari). We will make in Cricova, Milestii Mici and Purcari wine tastings. We will have lunch at Milestii Mici or Purcari wineries. When we finish lunch, went to the town of Agapia, where we will visit the monastery with the same name, monastery which has been painted by the famous Romanian painter - Nicolae Grigorescu. We continue our journey towards region of Moldova, one of the most representative tourist regions of Romania, known as the land of the 2000 monasteries. The monasteries of Voronet, Sucevita, Moldovita and Humor, with its frescoes painted both inside and outside, are one of the legacies of Byzantine art in the world, comparable to those of Cappadocia, Mistra or the meteors, unique in Europe, reason by which have been declared a UNESCO heritage. Initially these monasteries have had a role in defense, but after being painted they have become a true Bible pictures, for the people of the village that SAP cannot read and write. Dinner buffet and overnight at the Hotel Best Western Bucovina 4 * /Humor.
Day 5. Sucevita – Marginea – Moldovita – Bistrita – Targu Mures
Breakfast. The first monastery we visited is the Humor monastery, one of the most beautiful in the region of Bucovina, built in 1530 and painted five years later we continue with the Voronet monastery, built in 1488 by the famous Stephan - the great Moldovan Prince. This monastery is known under the name of "Sistine Chapel of the East" and is famous around the world due to the color that predominates in its cool - blue, color contained in the catalogues of UNESCO, together with green from Veronese and Titian red. We continue our stay in this wonderful region of Bucovina, visiting the workshops from Marginea black ceramics, where we will see a practical demonstration of manual manufacture of this famous black pottery. We continue our journey, we visited another monastery which retains the architectural style Moldovan, created during the reign of Esteban, the large monastery of Sucevita, which boasts the largest number of images painted on its walls in the year 1596. The predominant color is green. The last monastery of our program, is the monastery of Moldovita, built in 1532. Predominant color in its frescos is yellow. Lunch in a tourist pension located next to the monastery, with typical products of the area of Bucovina. After lunch, we went through the Carpathians by Pasul Tihuta and arrive in the city of Bistrita Nasaud. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel Gold Crown 3 * /Bistrita, starting point of the famous novel Dracula.
Day 6. Targu Mures - Bodegas Jidvei - Alba Iulia - Sibiu – Brasov
Breakfast. After a panoramic tour of the city of Bsitrita, we headed toward the Tarnave wineries and the famous wineries of Jidvei where we have wine tastings. We continue our journey toward the town of Alba Iulia. Lunch at a local restaurant. At the end of the lunch, we visit the Citadel Alba Carolina, Vauban in style, last built in Transylvania. On 1 December 1918 in this fortress has been carried out the great Union of Romania, where the ancient region of Transylvania joined with Moldavia and Walachia, after more than 200 years of Austro-Hungarian occupation. At the end of this visit, we headed towards the city which best preserves its medieval layout, Sibiu city that European has been chosen in 2007, Capital Cultural. We will make a tour of the city of Sibiu. Stroll in Sibiu, you can see houses with their soiled facades, its iron ingots that advertise vintage shops, their patinas oxide which stain red walls, the loose paving of streets, its windows of multicolored sills, in short everything in Sibiu, summarize the essence of the Middle evo. We will visit the major and minor squares, the Orthodox Cathedral, the stairs passage, as the famous bridge of liars. Accommodation in Hotel Ramada 4 * / Sibiu. Typical dinner in a tourist guesthouse of Sibiel, drinks on the menu.
Day 7. Brasov – Bran – Sinaia- Bucuresti
Breakfast. We headed towards the city of Brasov, located in the Centre of the country, old point border between Wallachia, Moldavia and Transylvania, where we will make a panoramic city tour: Schei gate, synagogue, door Santa Ecaterina, the street of the thread, the Council square, the Tower of the Council as the most important monument of the Gothic of Romania, the famous black church of Brasov. Then we went to the famous town of Bran, where we visit Bran Castle, known under the name of Dracula's Castle. Built between 1377-1382, on a large rock, had two roles: one commercial, the taxing of all traders passing with their goods in the ancient regions of Transylvania and Wallachia and another military defend the Bran pass. But Castle owes its notoriety to the legend that refers to the figure of Vlad Tepes. After this visit we headed toward the station of Sinaia, called "The Pearl of the Carpathians" where we will visit the Sinaia Monastery, built by the prince Miguel Cantacuzino, after a visit to Mount Sinai. The architecture of this monastery has to do with the Church of Santa Catalina, located on Mount Sinai. We have to mention the fact that she has been the first building in this part of the Carpathians, giving name to the station. We continue with the visit of the wonderful of Peles Castle, built by the first representative of the Romanian monarchy - Carol I, a member of the family of Hohenzollern Zigmaringen of Germany. Lunch at a local restaurant in Sinaia. In the late afternoon arrival in the capital of Romania - Bucharest. Farewell dinner with folklore show and drinks
on the menu in the famous restaurant Pescarus. Accommodation in the Hotel Doubletree by Hilton 4 * /Bucharest.
Day 8. Bucharest
Buffet breakfast. At the time established with the Guide transfer to the airport and end of our services.
