Easter in Bucovina is one of the most expressive cultural and religious experiences you can have in Romania. People in Bucovina are by definition dedicated to their traditions and to religious events. The wonderful painted monasteries are included in the UNESCO world heritage and are part of this special event. Egg painting is an art you can experience during your stay in the area.
The little traditional pensions we propose you the accommodation will make you feel comfortable and part of the spirit of this special event. The accommodation place is very close to Voronet and Humor painted monasteries and you can visit them during your stay.

Itinerary
Event presentation
Arriving in Gura Humorului: the closest airports are Iasi, Suceava, or Targu Mures. Transfers from Iasi, Suceava, Targu Mures, Bucharest or any other close airport is possible on request. Transfers will be organized by our company, with cars or minivans, depending the group size.
You will be welcome by the hosts of a traditional pension on the 3rd/ 10th of April. The accommodation place is Gura Humorului, very close to Voronet and Humor monasteries, both of them included in the UNESCO world heritage.
You are invited to participate at Easter religious ceremonies in one of the two close monasteries or at a local church in Gura Humorului.
The hosts will prepare for you traditional Easter meals, based on lamb, fish and eggs, but also the local cookies and drinks.
Visits at monasteries and at other local objectives (black ceramic workshops and other old monasteries) is included as a guided tour on 6th/13th of April.
