The Dealu Marea region is located 60 km North from Bucharest. The area is well known for the red wines production.
The landscape and the infrastructure of the area is also suitable for one-two cycling or hiking trips.
The cycling wine route is ~30 km long and pass beautiful landscapes of the region.
The guided cycling trip includes visits at wine museums, wine tasting at local wineries, as well as visits at other cultural places.
Itinerary
Group meeting in Urlati - Bellu Manor.
After visiting the Manor, the group will pass the hill from Urlati to Ceptura for visiting two historical cellars.
Each cellar will organize wine tasting sessions with wine specialists.
After wine tasting, we will return to Urlati, following a different route.
The trip will also include visit at Jercalai Monastery.
Visitors can buy local wines from the cellars' wine shops.
