Itinerary

• Day 1. Bucharest

  Arrival at the international airport Henri Coanda. Meeting with the guide and transfer to hotel. Short walk in the city center before dinner. Dinner at a restaurant in the city center. Accommodation in Bucharest.

• Day 2. Bucharest – Sibiu

  Buffet breakfast in the hotel. Panoramic visit of the Romanian capital, including: the Parliament Palace – the second largest construction in the world, after the Pentagon, the Revolution Square, the Constitution Square, the Village Museum , the Military Academy, and the Arch of the Triumph. Lunch in a local restaurant of Bucharest. In the afternoon departure to the city that best preserves its medieval layout, Sibiu, cruising the beautiful gorge formed by Olt River. Typical Dinner in the houses of the peasants in the village of as Sibiel, with drinks included in the menu (wine and brandy). Accommodation in Sibiu.

• Day 3. Sibiu – Sighisoara – Brasov

  Breakfast buffet in the hotel. We start with the visit of Sibiu, walk. Stroll in Sibiu, you can see houses with their soiled facades, the iron ingots that advertise vintage shops, the loose paving of streets, old wooden doors, their windows of sills multicolored, ultimately all in Sibiu, summarize the essence of the middle age . We will visit the Great Square and the Small Square, the Orthodox Cathedral, the stairs passage, as the famous Liars’ Bridge. We continue our journey toward the town of Sighisoara, the only inhabited citadel, today UNESCO Heritage and birthplace of the famous Vlad Impaler, prince of Wallachia, who inspired the figure of Dracula on the novel by Bram Stoker. We visit the Clock Tower that houses the Museum of History of the city of Sighisoara, the Museum of Medieval Weapons, the Torture Chamber, as well as the birthplace of Dracula - today a famed restaurant where we will have lunch. Then we head towards Brasov,, border crossing the ancient historical regions: Wallachia, Moldavia and Transylvania, where we will have a panoramic tour of the city of Brasov: with the Church San Nicolas, the Şchei Gate, the Synagogue, the Santa Ecaterina Gate, the Thread Street, the Council Square, the Tower of the Council, as well as the most important Gothic monument of Romania, the famous Black Church of Brasov. Dinner and accommodation in Brasov.

• Day 4. Brasov – Bran - Sinaia – Bucharest

  Breakfast buffet in the hotel. We leave Brasov for Bran, where we visit Bran Castle, also known under the name of Dracula's Castle. Then we head towards Sinaia resort, named for its beauty "The Pearl of the Carpathians" where we will visit the monastery of Sinaia, built by Prince Mihai Cantacuzino after a visit to Mount Sinai. The architecture of this monastery has to do with the Church Santa Catalina, located on Mount Sinai. We have to mention that it was the first building in this part of the Carpathian Mountains, giving name to the resort. We continue with a visit to the splendid palace of Peles, built by the first representative of the Romanian monarchy - Carol I, Member of the family of Hohenzollern of Zigmaringen of Germany. Lunch at a local restaurant in Sinaia. After lunch, we head for the capital of Romania - Bucharest. Free time to walk and get to know this beautiful city. Farewell dinner in a restaurant in the old city center. Accommodation in Bucharest.

• Day 5. Bucharest

  Breakfast buffet in the hotel. At the set time transfer to the airport and end of our services.
