Founded on the ruins of a Roman fortification, Timisoara was influenced by many cultures and administration, so currently it is the most cosmopolitan city in Romania. Tour description
Group meeting with the guide and tour preview.
In the morning we will have a panoramic tour of the city and we will follow the 1989 revolution steps.
We are leaving the city for visiting the mosi important patrimony objectives: the oldest church in Romania (in Densus), a buffalo reserve (in Hateg) and the ruins of a Romana fortress (in Sarmisegetuza).
About Densus church we don't know its founding information, but the architecture and the stories around the place deserve the visit. The buffalo reserve in Hateg was established in order to repopulate the area with this rare and proud animal.
After lunch we will return to Timisoara, but on the way we will have a wine tasting at Recas winery.
